Unforgettable Memories!

The trip to the Philippines was my first time traveling abroad, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. After two flights, from Vietnam to Manila and from Manila to Iloilo, we continued our journey by boat, finally arriving on the island of Guimaras - a beautiful small island located in the Western Visayas region, Philippines.

 The entire journey, from the beginning until arriving in Guimaras, was filled with exciting experiences. Every step, whether in the air or on the sea, brought new and memorable emotions. Guimaras, with its pristine natural beauty and fresh air, made me feel like I was experiencing a new feeling, a feeling of
 happiness mixed with excitement.

This trip not only opened up a new journey for me but also brought wonderful experiences about the culture, people and landscapes here. Every moment contained precious memories, and I know that this trip will always be a mark in my life.

Twenty days in the Philippines, including twenty days at Guimaras State University, have left me with unforgettable memories. The love and care from the teachers, along with the enthusiasm and friendliness from my friends, have made a deep impression on my heart.

When it was time to say goodbye, my teachers at Guimaras State University and I shared many heartfelt hugs. These embraces were filled with respect and gratitude, and I truly felt the warm, familial atmosphere that the teachers provided.

Both the teachers and students at Supang National High School were exceptionally friendly. The teachers always greeted us with warm smiles, while the students were polite and welcoming. When I said goodbye, the students presented me with gifts and sincere wishes, which deeply touched me.

Teaching Practice

I had three days of teaching at Supang National High School, which took place on October 14, 15, and 16, 2024.  On October 14, I began by teaching historical concepts and major events in Vietnamese history. The students were very excited to learn about this topic and focused intently on the lesson. As it was my first time standing on the podium and teaching in English, I felt a little nervous. However, thanks to the enthusiastic support of my cooperating teacher and the eagerness of the students, I regained my confidence and completed my task successfully. On October 15, I shifted to teaching about Buddhism. I was pleasantly surprised by the positive reception of my lecture from the students. They worked in groups and presented their findings on the board. Next, I introduced the origins of Buddhism and its various sects. Once again, I felt the students' enthusiastic interest in the lesson, and I was very satisfied with how it went. On October 16, I taught about the ASEAN Community....
